Location
Welcome to Abazzia San Pietro En Valle. Our venue is a historic residence with a storied, often mysterious, history dating back to 8th century. It is located in the Italian region of Umbria near the town of Ferentillo. From Rome, it is an under 2 hour drive and a 2.5 hour train ride to Terni station.
We will likely be arranging transport for those taking the train from the station to their accommodation. Parking is available to those driving.
Itinerary
We encourage planning a greater European trip around our wedding. You’ve already come this far, please do make the most of it! There is much to do around Umbria. For the three days you spend with us, expect relaxed, pleasant mid-summer revelry overflowing with quality time, nature, delicious food and wine, and per usual with these things, some sort of soiree in the evenings.
We recommend getting into Rome (or whichever proximate area you choose to arrive from) at least one day in advance to avoid any travel trouble impeding the celebration dates. Nearing our arrival, this website with be updated with a detailed itinerary of each day. For now, just know check-in is at 3pm on June 24 and check out is by 11am on June 27.
Wedding
Fret not, this will be a non-strenuous day. We will be spreading out wedding-related proceedings (only the fun ones) over the entire stay rather than pack them all into one day.
Come June 26, assume a relaxed morning followed by an apertivo and cocktail hour in the afternoon followed by a laid-back ceremony, and a celebration worthy of the twelve years leading up to this day reaching well into the night. Saluti!
Accommodations
Accommodations have been secured for you! Guests will be split between the venue, which doubles as a boutique hotel and restaurant, and the sister villa, an equally charming spot with a pool. Tentative room assignments have been made pending final RSVPs.
If you’re dying to know where you’re staying, we can likely give you a good idea at this point. Otherwise, we will reach out with room assignments and payment options within the next couple months.
